AI Fashion Photography: Questions & Answers
I'm starting a new section for questions and answers from DMs. I get a lot of questions about AI fashion photography in particular. I hope my thoughts on some topics will enlighten you.
QUESTION 01
Oh haha, I just asked it so I know what language is better to communicate with you. But I really liked the visuals you made.
But, do brands actually want this? Because I have this thought creative brands like daily paper or other brands disregard ai visuals because it would take the soul away from an actual photographer. And they want to support their creative community (photographers, videographers, designers). And since you’ve done both, what’s your opinion about this?
Cause ai is here to stay and it will revolutionize business, but on the other hand, lots of ppl hate it because they’re afraid it will take their job

Brands are still approaching this area cautiously. Major brands that set trends in fashion have begun using AI in some of their content, taking small steps. Trends in fashion can change very quickly. If a few major brands highlight content created with AI, it could suddenly become attractive to other brands. AI is entering our lives every day, and this will also be the case in fashion photography and videography.
It's not just brands; artists working in the fashion industry are also keeping their distance from this field for now. This sector is generally a somewhat closed sector that progresses through networking. Creative directors, stylists, and photographers have not yet fully experienced how to use AI in their work. They don't know how to use it. I am one of those who tested it early on and took a position. After a while, I know that I will be doing work in this field, and offers have even started to come in.
Advertising photography and product photography have already changed shape. Yes, many people may have to change their jobs, but instead of fearing AI, everyone should think about how they can adapt it to their own work. In fact, it offers opportunities for everyone to develop their creativity. Hating AI is just a reflex that some people's nature gives to innovations. In short, there is no escape from this change; it will happen.
QUESTION 02
thanks for the thorough answer! And I read your post too. Do you also think that in-person shoots on set will disappear over time as well?
ZEK
No, think of it like analog photography when digital cameras came out, or how changing image trends followed when cameras came out. Just research that. Creativity will only increase and shift direction. Take a look at the work on the market. I think there is a lack of truly creative, original content. Artificial intelligence is removing some of the barriers to this.
I want to do hybrid work in the near future, and maybe then I’ll be able to show better examples. So, you can set up a series with artificial intelligence, just like a real photo shoot with a team, or you can just design the space with ai.
Let’s post screenshots of this conversation sometime. People have a lot of questions.
